Thuram and Martinez fire Inter to 3-1 Derby d’Italia victory over Juventus

Inter Milan moved closer to retaining the Scudetto with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Juventus in the Derby d’Italia at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Marcus Thuram opened the scoring with a towering header, before Lautaro Martinez doubled the lead with a clinical strike from the edge of the box. Hakan Calhanoglu made it three from the penalty spot before Juventus grabbed a consolation goal late on.

Inter now lead Serie A by eight points and look uncatchable with just seven matches remaining.
